IILM-GSM recognizes and admits the factual canon. We have had enough nitty-gritty of the institute and I will unbosom more facts in the process. But, let me a give it a break and clear your mind of any cloudiness. There are numerous confusions I come across when I go through your questions. The concerns seem unanimous! Well, this makes my job all the more easier…fewer coagulations!! I’m saved!
Jokes apart, the issues are more grim than they seem. Questions are dispersed across the web-world with hardly an authentic and reliable source to answer. The issues are enumerated and pinched at below with facts:
1. Is IILM BS(Mathura Road) in any way connected to IILM-GSM?
A big NO!
IILM GSM has no relations with IILM BS. They are entirely different. Remember not to make comparisons between the two!
IILM BS a new entrant in the array of B-schools and is associated with the Rai Foundation.
Though, IILM BS has adopted the dignified IILM brand, it has no relation with the premier institute.
IILM-GSM (inception-1993) is under Ramkrishna Sons’ aegis, which also shields IILM Academy of Higher Learning(Delhi, Greater Noida and Gurgaon).
IILM-GSM has no branch elsewhere, except in Greater Noida and is unique.
There is no comparison that should be made between IILM-GSM and IILM BS.

2. Does IILM-GSM accept CAT and MAT scores?
Accept CAT scores, not MAT scores.
CAT score – YES
MAT scores – NO

3. Is the course at IILM-GSM AICTE approved?
YES, the course at IILM-GSM is AICTE approved and is named PGDM ,according to the nomenclature.

4. What other courses are run at IILM-GSM?
Currently, 2 courses are run at IILLM-GSM campus, namely :
 PGDM- the flagship program and
 Retail Management
A course in Marketing as specialization is about to spring up soon.

5. Are the two courses AICTE approved?
Both, PGDM and Retail are AICTE approved.
That provides an added value to the authenticity of the programs run.

Imperative it is, for an institute to carve a niche for itself and assimilating a positive feeling for itself in its students.One might have to literally hunt for a student who exudes positive vibes for his/her institute......Hard task!
Those that differ, possess substance.

IILM GSM as a business school does not only focus merely on providing jobs to it's students. It brings about an overall transformation in an individual with respect to his/her mental and physical skills which empowers him to face all the challenges in his life. IILM GSM is open to embrace students from diverse fields like sience, arts,commerce, B-tech, BBA etc and provide them with a solid platform to convert themselves into future managers. Inviting the intellectual pool through diversity has made IILM GSM a great place to learn and implement those learnings. Clearing the entrances like CAT and GMAT will obviously help an MBA aspirant to enter into this knowledge temple but in order to get adapted with the environment of IGSM one has to focus on developing his multitasking capability from day one. Activities and events at IILM GSM

To make the learning environment more challenging and exciting for students IILM GSM have encouraged the students to come up with number of clubs which are extremely creative. These are "Prism" the marketing club, "Analysts" the finance club, "Vikasana" the HR club, " Xpressions"the cultural club, "Sansad" the debating society, "Illuminati" the social club. All the year round these clubs are active and they always come up with some or the other creative events where there is full fledged participation on behalf students as well as club members. IILM GSM encourages students to pariticipate in these events so that they can exercise their talents in extra curricular activities as well as learn substantial things in the same process. All these events are highly competitive in nature which make the students use their grey matter and display them in creative ways, even prize money is kept for each event to encourage active participation. All these are done simply to acheive the objective of holistic development of students to bring about the talents in them and transform them into dyanamic personalities.

IILM GSM also organizes the annual business school festival " MOSAIC: the colours of creativity" which is generally held on third week of December and it invites the intellectual poo from all acroos teh countries. The three days of action, accomplishment, intellect, fun and valor surround the IILM GSM campus. The festival is inaugurated with a stage play and culminates with Alumni Lunch.

It also sees the participation from premier institutes like IIT, IIMs etc. VMD is most sought after events in all B-school campus across the country as it offers a lucrative prize money amounting to Rs50,000 as well as the strong excitement created by the cut throat competition.
